Barrenness of the Mind
You survived all these years
Though you never knew
What would become of you.
You tried not to despair
When everything seemed at an end,
When loneliness came at you
Out of nowhere.
Now youve reached a better end,
Reachd a destination
Now youve got the answers
To all your urging questions.
Youve got a task to complete
That fills your every hour.
But now you seem dissatisfied,
Seem to be exhausted.
The days of your freshness
In all those days of yearning
Are lost in the tides of time.
When you were seeking
Your mind was so creative;
Now youre in front of all the aims
Youre like a plant drying up.
