Here we stand

And here we are

In the midth of being

With our unbelievable stupidity.

We’re beings of living matter

With universal insignificance;

No more that dust-particles

In a universe of infinitiy.

And yet we consider ourselves —

Thinking with mad demonity —

The very core of existence.

It’s all so ridiculous!

If we’d only be aware

What’s really the sense of creation:

That we are no more

Than an element of the universe —

An infinite mixture

Of space and matter,

Of energy and nothingness!

If we’d but see

That we’re just a part of infinity,

We could make a paradise

Out of this little partof creation!
