Fergiartic

Fergiartic is the language of the Fergiartic Empire resp. the states which comprise Fergiartu, which spans a whole continent.

In the form depicted here, it is the high style of the language developed by the priests and scholars in the temples of the main Fergiartic religion, and it is also used at the court of the Megaparsha in Yenagôra.

Of course Fergiartic has gone through several variations where especially the complex grammar -- above all in the province of the verb -- but also the phonetic features have been simplified. Compare the following sequences:

ferg. digiarza (enemy, m.) -- mer. degirza-- mey. deviartS

ferg. blên (foolish) -- mer. blin -- mey. blenda

ferg. erûda (heron, m.) -- mer. arauda -- mey. rûd.

Of all my languages Fergiartic is the most developed and sometime soon the Fergiartic Empire will be presented on this website.
